Evaluations

Now our films have successfully finished, we are now focussing on our evaluations. The evaluation includes 7 questions which are about our film and the concepts behind them and different films we were inspired by. The deadline for our blogs is the 8th May along with our evaluations, so we haven't got long to go, and then its time for our exam !!

A Level Media Showcase

On the 25th May, A Level students at Enfield County got a chance to show their final films infront of an audience. Mac 1 went last, and we were able to give a quick speech about our film which included the background story of our film so it would be easier for the audience to understand.
Everyone's films looked great on a big screen, and we managed to get some good feedback and we all very much enjoyed ourselves.

Last minute changes

Just a quick vlog that Athena and Alice did about some last minute changes of our film before we had to upload it.

Credits

Here is a shot of our lovely credits which are all shown at the beginning of the film. We've changed the font to all lower case and luckily we all prefer it that way. Very pleased with how its turned out !

Sound Update

We've decided to change our background music to just one song, originally we were going to have two songs in our intro. The song 'Blue Blood' by the Foals was going to start the intro and carry on till nearer the end, and then it would change into a song called 'Closer' by Kings Of Leon because it was more eerier which related well to the more creepier ending. However it turns out we prefer it just staying as Foals throughout, as the ending of the song goes really well with the ending of our intro and because we needed to find a way to somehow mold Closer into Blue Blood without it sounding too much of a dramatic change.

Breaking Dawn opening credits

I love the contrast of the colours and the fonts in these opening credits and how simple it is. The red against the white is very effective and the idea of changing the font as the colours change is very clever.
